Executive MBA University of St. Gallen. 1992-1994 plant and process control engineering partner of a small company. 1995-1997 manager energy and resource protection section at SKAT (Swiss Centre for Development Cooperation in Technology and Management). 1998/99 independent consultant in energy, environment, international co-operation. Bernhard Oettli joined INFRAS in 1999 as senior project manager in development co-operation and sustainability.
