Donald Sigrist EMSc ETH in Mechanical Engineering 1980
2000 until 2006 studies in Mechanical Engineering at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH). He studied thermodynamics, energy technology and renewable energies (diploma 2006). 2006 until 2010 studies in management, technology and economy at the ETH Zurich (Master, 2010). During his studies he gained work experience at the MegaWatt GmbH as energy consultant in Berlin (internship 2003), as project assistant at EMPA in the e-Waste sector in Bangalore, India (civil service, 2007) and as science journalist at Oerlikon Journalists Ltd (2001 until 2010) focussing on energy efficient building. Since April 2010 research associate at INFRAS in the energy field. His major field of activities are empiric analyses regarding energy, climate and environmental policy issues and energy technology.
