Family and Equal Opportunities A central example of our prognosis-based research in this area has been estimates and forecasts of future demand for external childcare provision in cantons and municipalities. |

Education We view Education as a key element for sustainable development of the economy and society at large. Our studies focus on issues of current relevance in education policy: at present, the introduction and appointment of school principals or management teams and the standardisation of the structure of the school day in Swiss state schools, and the testing and assessment of new qualification procedures in ongoing professional training. |

Public Finances We seek to identify efficient and effective solutions for the acquisition and use of Public Finances at all levels of government that will serve the common good. In this our analyses are guided by the approaches and insights of modern finance. |
