The threat to biodiversity, the state of our waters, landscapes, and
entire habitats as well as the impact of climate change show that western
civilization, in an ecological sense, is living beyond its means. Although
Switzerland has made great strides in water protection, air quality,
and waste management, it has not been able to ensure that economic growth
is environmentally compatible. That is why INFRAS is at work together
with partners in politics and business to steadily reduce environmental
pollution and resource use.
The development of measures and strategies for the protection of air,
waters, soil and climate – with the inclusion of political, economic
and technical framework conditions – is therefore part of our core
competencies. Nowadays many businesses, public organisations as well
as administrations are counting on our know-how on a local, national
and international level.
