Climate Change adaptation in Switzerland

There is increasing awareness in Switzerland on climate change adaptation. The Swiss Federation has just adopted a federal climate change adaptation strategy. Several cantons have also started to develop strategies and measures to face climate change adaptation. Hence, there was a need to exchange information and experiences. The Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) has therefore amended its website with a new category targeting climate change adaptation. As a base for the development of this information and exchange plattform, INFRAS has conducted a comprehensive compilation of information on climate change adaptation activities. http://www.bafu.admin.ch/klimaanpassung/index.html?lang=de
