Information Society Zurich - on the way to a new economy

Economy and society are undergoing a fundamental shift towards the formation of an information society. New information and communications technologies (ICT) are playing an important role in the economic development of cities and regions. The research project focuses on the use of new ICT in the Zurich economy and evaluates problems and impediments to progress towards an information society in the greater Zurich area. The research project is sponsored by the Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB). Project results are published in the ZKB "Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft" series.
