The US Environmental Protection Agency USEPA awards Stephan Sicars of the GTZ sectoral project Proklima with this years' Stratospheric Ozone Award. The award honours outstanding performance in protection of the earth's ozone layer. Thus, Stephan Sicars is already the 4th partner of the Indo-Swiss-German ECOFRIG collaboration to recieve this award, after Prof. RS. Agarwal from IIT Delhi, Dr. S. Devotta from NCL Pune and INFRAS Zurich. INFRAS heartily congratulates its German partner Stephan Sicars on this honourable award! And the collaboration continues: INFRAS, S. Sicars and others have jointly submitted to the Multilateral Fund of the Montreal Protocol the Sector Plan for the Complete Phase-Out of CFC-12 Consumption in the Indian Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Service Sector (RACSSP Project)
