Leo Valentin Hug

Leo Valentin Hug works in the field of spatial and transport planning in Bern. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Geography and Economics at the University of Bern and subsequently studied Spatial Development & Infrastructure Systems at ETH Zurich.

In his master’s thesis, he developed a framework for strategic energy spatial planning based on qualitative population surveys and expert interviews. He gained his first experience in planning whilst performing his community service with the Mobility Department of the City of Biel.
