Myriam Steinemann operates at the interface between the fields of climate, environment and development. She leads projects in Switzerland and abroad, the main foci being adaptation to the climate change, development cooperation and sustainable development.
For two years, she worked as a programme officer in the area climate at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC. She studied Geography and Ethnology at the University of Zurich (CH). In regard to her diploma research, she stayed in Cuba for an extended period. Afterwards, she worked as a research assistant at the Department of Geography at the University of Zurich.
