Zurich Green Region: Quality of location in the area of Cleantech

In 2010, INFRAS was commissioned by the Metropolitan Conference Zurich to assess the qualities of location of the Metropolitan Area in the field of Cleantech and to propose measures for improvement. The target was to concentrate the measures on the building section in a first step. This will allow for concrete guidance and will overlap with most of the Cleantech subareas.The most important recommendations for the sustainable construction area concern passing the goal getting of ten green goals and of a total strategy for the promotion of sustainable construction as well as the implementation on the level of the building specifications 2008/2011 and the cooperation with the «Energiestadt» and «Minergie» associations.
