The bus of the future is powered by electricity. At least to a certain extent. It is not yet predictable which systems will ultimately dominate the market. Currently, there are various vehicle models and systems operating in the European countries. They rank differently, depending on the operating area, the primary energy balance and greenhouse gas balance as well as the costs. Considering the strong market and technology dynamics, the question arises as to what investment strategy is sensible for the bus operators.
