Whether it's capturing and removing CO2 emissions or circular economy: various ways are being sought to reduce emissions that are difficult to avoid. Addressing hard-to-abate emissions is crucial for Switzerland to achieve its net-zero target. INFRAS is involved in a research consortium that aims to make solutions concrete and scalable.

With the renewal of its Action Plan for Adaptation, the German Federal Government aims to further strengthen the country's climate resilience. To design the ensemble of various policy instruments as effectively as possible, the Federal Environment Agency has carried out an ex-ante assessment with the support of INFRAS.

INFRAS conducted the analysis on behalf of the Federal Office for the Environment.

Sustainability is an important topic for companies and organisations - but also a challenging one. INFRAS supports companies on their way to more sustainability: Analysing the current situation, developing goals and a strategy, defining concrete measures and implementing a monitoring system.

Heavy rain, storms, drought: extreme weather events are becoming more frequent and more severe due to climate change. To systematically record and quantify the damage, the German Federal Environment Agency has commissioned INFRAS to develop a concept for a national damage register.
