MSc in Climate Sciences with special qualification in Economics
Sophie Kaufmann joined INFRAS in March 2021 as an intern in the areas of environment and climate.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from the University of Lucerne and recently completed her Master's degree in Climate Sciences with special qualification in Economics at the University of Bern. In her master thesis she analyzed the stability of climate agreements when introducing a «Border Tax Adjustment». During her studies she already gained experience in project work and data analysis at BAK Economics AG, an economic research institute. In her last position, Sophie Kaufmann worked as an administrative assistant and project assistant at INFRAS.
