Madeleine Guyer

Senior Project Manager

Madeleine Guyer works in the subject areas environment, development and economy. She primarily focuses on national and international climate policy, development cooperation and sustainable investments. She is an expert in climate change adaptations, project management and capacity building. Furthermore, she gained consultancy experience in China, India and West Africa.

She studied Geography and Environmental Sciences at the Universities of Zurich and Berne (CH), focusing on Economic Geography, Climatology and Development Cooperation. She graduated with a thesis regarding monetisation of ecosystem services at the ETH Zurich. During her studies, she was engaged with projects for myclimate and also worked in the field of waste management in Santiago de Cuba (CU). After her studies, she was involved with a project assignments at EcoSecurities in The Hague (NL), concerning the issues of climate policy post-2012 and the future layouts of CDM.
